Before joining venture capital, she spent several years in biotechnology, serving as executive assistant to the CEO of Verge Genomics and, earlier, to the CFO of BridgeBio Pharma. Her cross-functional background—spanning finance, R&D, and high-growth start-ups—gives her a unique vantage point on the companies Meritech backs. A Bay Area native, Annalisa earned her B.S. in Media Studies from UC Berkeley. She is passionate about animal welfare, volunteering regularly at the Peninsula Humane Society.
