Cathy joined Meritech in 2024 and invests across AI infrastructure, AI-native applications, cybersecurity and fintech. Prior to Meritech, Cathy was an investor at Permira, where she led technology growth investments in enterprise software. Cathy started her career at Boston Consulting Group, advising private equity clients on growth strategies.

Cathy holds a B.Sc. in materials science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was a member of the lightweight rowing team. She grew up in Las Vegas and enjoys spending time with family in Seoul, Korea. Outside of the office, Cathy can be found skiing, exploring new restaurants or hiking along the Californian coast.
